Mission
CISS – Cooperazione internazionale sud sud: solidarity, protection and real support, to contribute to the development of the most socially excluded populations.
The main aim of our Association is to intervene on issues concerning the social development, on behalf of the most socially excluded classes of populations, both in Southern Italy and in Countries of the South part of the World. In order to accomplish its mission, CISS draws its inspiration from the following principles:
• Promoting, supporting and fostering the values of a solidarity culture;
• Protecting and promoting the fundamental human rights (of people), fighting against the neo-liberalistic policies which widen the distance from the South and the North;
• Fostering relations and exchanges among groups and organizations of the South and the North parts of the World;
• Promoting peace to build a fairer society;
• Basing on the needs of people and their relationships, to contribute to the development and the empowerment of local groups and societies.
