What is Web 2.0?
Web 2.0 is a word used for generically indicating Internet status of evolution, compared to the previous condition. The word Web 2.0 indicates the set of all those on-line applications which allow a high level of interaction site-user (blog, forum, chat, systems as Wikipedia, YouTube Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, etc.). The expression stresses the differences between Web 2.0 and the previous system Web 1.0 which was widespread until the 90’s. It was composed of static websites which has no interaction possibilities with the user except normal netsurfing, the use of e-mail and search engines.
