Development Education
The Development Education includes all sensitization and training projects carried out in Italy on the issues of development cooperation.
The objective of the DE projects (Development Education) is to inform the Italian public opinion about the reality of developing countries, breaking stereotypes and clichés.
Projects can have city, regional, national and European dimensions. The main funders are the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Commission, which have specific lines of financing, with its own rules and administrative policies.
Due to its characteristics, the DE represents a privileged and effective instrument for the work of information, exchange and transformation that Ong can operate on the territory.
